The Letty Towles Dog Park is located at the Jervey Gantt Recreation Complex and is a guaranteed dog-gone good time! The park offers plenty of amenities for pups to enjoy and is divided in separate areas for large dogs and small dogs to play. The 4.5 acre park is fenced, giving dogs plenty of room to stretch their legs, chase a ball and make new friends.

Open Fridays through Tuesdays from 7 a.m. to sunset.

Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays to allow the grass time to recover. 

Meet Ranger, Ocala Goodwill Park Ambassador

You may see Ranger walking with an Ocala Park Ranger on patrol, helping out with a program at the park, playing with kids or practicing a new trick! Ranger, a yellow lab, is the Goodwill Ambassador for the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks. He loves meeting new people and making friends so be sure to stop and give him a pat if you see him in our parks!  

The City of Ocala thanks Dion L. Osborne, D.V.M. for graciously taking care of Ranger, our adorable goodwill park ambassador and department mascot. Ocala Veterinary Hospital does a remarkable job keeping Ranger healthy so he can show up to events, give cuddles and put smiles on faces.
