• Students must walk and use inside voices when inside the Welcome Center.
• Students must stay with chaperones at all times.
• Students must demonstrate respect for the center, guests, employees, natural
  resources, and historic buildings.
• Fort King is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• All guests must adhere to the Leave No Trace guidelines. Please do not remove anything from the park. If you find a possible artifact, please notify a staff member so it can be documented properly. Due to the nature of the site, digging and removal of historical artifacts is punishable by federal law

• Fort King encourages the following chaperone ratio: 1 adult per 10 students. 
• Chaperones and adults are required to stay with their students at all times. They are responsible for the behavior and actions of the group during their visit. 
• Groups that demonstrate a lack of respect for our buildings, nature, or guests may be asked to leave.

• We encourage bus drop off and pick up in front of the Seminole Chickee (large palm thatched structure). 
• Once off the bus we ask that all guests make their way under the Chickee for further directions from park staff.
• Busses may park in the grass area to next to the Chickee or in the middle of the parking area.

• There are picnic tables inside the garden, in front of, and behind the Welcome Center available to use for lunches, as well as benches throughout the front of the park and under the Chickee.
• Students and adults are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and not leaving any trash behind.

We suggest bringing the following items with you for your tour:

• Bug repellant
• Sunscreen
• Water bottle
• Blanket/towel (for sitting on the ground for lunch)
• Hat
• Good walking shoes, like sneakers

Cancellations: After submitting your reservation, you may cancel within three (3) business days and you will not be charged a cancellation fee. Any cancellations outside of this window are subject to a 100% cancellation fee based on the estimated number of students scheduled to arrive.

Weather Cancellations: When the National Weather Service has issued any “Severe Weather Warning” we will reschedule your visit.
