Youth Fishing Derby

The popular Youth Fishing Derby takes place from 10 a.m. to noon. This free event provides youth, ages 14 and under, the opportunity to catch and release fish at Lake Tuscawilla. Prizes will be awarded in three age group brackets for catching the most fish and for catching the biggest fish. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment and bait; however, a limited number of supplies will be available. Registration is not required.

Ocala Clothing Swap

Introducing the Ocala Clothing Swap!

As part of Earthfest this year, the Ocala Clothing Swap will be accepting donations of clothing items to promote sustainability and community involvement. All donated clothes will be made available for free to the community at Earthfest, an exciting event on April 20th from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Donations of clothing items for all sizes and genders are gladly accepted. We also welcome shoes, purses, accessories, and more. To ensure a smooth process, please kindly wash and fold items before donating. Our administrative office (828 NE Eighth Ave.) serves as a drop-off location, open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

By participating in the Ocala Clothing Swap, you are not only giving new life to pre-loved fashion but also contributing towards a greener future one item at a time. Together, let's make a positive impact on our community and the environment.
