City of Ocala Electric Customers

Effective March 1, 2024, electric customers will notice a decrease in the PCA and an increase in the customer rates. Please visit the Rate and Municipal Fees page for detailed information.

Fire User Fee Class Action Suit Update

In the First Distribution of funds, each Class Member received a refund that equals 91.5972% of the fire fees collected from that Class Member between February 20, 2010, and July 21, 2020, rounded down to the nearest whole cent.

Second Distribution of funds began mailing in October 2023 to Class Members that have received and cashed the First Distribution. The refund equals to 8.4028% of the fire fees collected from that Class Member between February 20, 2010, and July 21, 2020, rounded down to the nearest whole cent.
