(OCALA, FL.) November 8, 2023 – At 10:32 a.m. Ocala Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a mobile home fire at Country Town Village, 2580 SE First Ave.

Engines 1, 3, 4, and 7, Tower 1, Rescue 1, Battalion Chiefs 11 and 22, a Chaplain, and a Fire Investigator responded.

As units made their way to the scene, a column of black smoke was spotted from afar.

The first fire truck arrived within four minutes to find flames coming out of the windows of the mobile home’s porch and living room area. All occupants had vacated the home.

Using pre-connected hose lines units attacked the flames from multiple sides. The fire was knocked down by 10:43 a.m.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

No injuries were reported.

The Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.
