The Atlantic Hurricane Season is June 1st through November 30th

Although the City of Ocala does not have a coastline, we can still experience freshwater flooding when tropical storms and hurricanes move across the Atlantic Ocean.

All City of Ocala residents and visitors should prepare for the possibility of a tropical storm or hurricane hazard every year!

How to receive Emergency Notifications?

If you are within the City of Ocala limits, Code Red.

If you are not within the City of Ocala limits but, are still inside Marion County, Alert Marion.
