Racial Harmony & Cultural Awareness Task Force

The Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness Task Force is a City of Ocala initiative spearheaded by City Councilwoman Mary Sue Rich. The task force has been in existence since 2000. 

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness Task Force to promote a community of inclusiveness while celebrating racial and cultural heritage. We do this by bringing together diverse citizens to promote racial harmony and by encouraging appreciation and respect for cultural differences.

(Racial Equity and Cultural Harmony) is the community outreach program of the Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness Task Force. Our outreach programs include the following:
