Reach Across the Table

Members of our community with diverse ethnic, religious, and political backgrounds will come together to strengthen community relationships, increase awareness of racial and cultural lifestyles and enhance the quality of life for residents in Ocala/Marion County.

The inaugural event was held in January 2018. We want to thank everyone who came to the table to discuss issues regarding our ability to 'TRUST' one another. Based on the feedback provided by participants, the Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness Task Force (RHTF) developed a report and action plan.

This event is held every other year. The 2020 event focused on 'RESPECT' and a final report forthcoming. For more information about this event, please email reachocalamarion@gmail.com.
