The outbound trip of this route starts at the Marion County Health Department, connecting stops at Park View Commons Shopping Mall, Forest High School - Ocala, the Rotary Sportsplex, USPS office, the Silver Springs Shores Walmart, and Lockheed Martin. The inbound trip of this route connects Silver Springs Shores Prebysterian Church, Silver Springs Shores Community Center, Silver Springs Shores Walmart, the Baseline Road Trailhead, Whispering Sands Neighborhood, Silver Springs Marine Institute, and the Marion County Health Department, where the Red Route can timely transfer to Blue Route for select trips. The Red Route also stops at Lake Weir High School during the August through May school year for two trips per weekday. (See BusSchedule for more details)
