Downtown Road Closures - Ocala Arts Festival

OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 22, 2021) – The following is a list of road closures that will be in effect for the 54th Annual Ocala Arts Festival (FAFO) happening Saturday, Oct. 23 and Sunday, Oct. 24 in downtown Ocala.

 

Road closures effective immediately through Sunday, Oct. 24 at 11:30 p.m.

  • SE First Avenue, from SE Third Street to E Silver Springs Boulevard
  • E Broadway Street, from SW First Avenue to Osceola Avenue
  • SW First Ave from SW Broadway Street to SW Second Street
  • E Fort King Street, from Magnolia Avenue to Osceola Avenue and SW Second Avenue to Osceola Avenue
  • SE Second Street, from Magnolia Avenue to Osceola Avenue and SW First Ave to Osceola Avenue
  • SE Magnolia Avenue, from SE Third Street to Silver Springs Boulevard
  •  

Detour routes –

  • Northbound – SE First Avenue: East on SE Third Street, north on Watula Avenue, west on Silver Springs Boulevard, back to NE First Avenue
  • Eastbound – W Broadway Street: South on SW Second Avenue, east on SW Second Street, south on SW First Avenue, east on SE Third Street, north on Watula Avenue, back to E Broadway Street.
  • Eastbound – West Fort King Street: South on SW Second Ave, east on SW Second Street, south on SW First Avenue, east on SE Third Street, north on Watula Avenue, back to East Fort King Street
  • Eastbound – SW Second Street: south on SW First Avenue, east on SE Third Street, north on Watula Avenue, back to SE Second Street
  • Southbound – N Magnolia Avenue: West on State Road 40, south on SW First Avenue, west on SW Broadway Street, south on SW Second Avenue, east on SW Second Street, south on SW First Avenue, east on SW Third Street back to Magnolia Avenue

 

Additional Road closure effective Saturday, Oct. 23 at 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. –

  • SW/SE Third Street, from Magnolia Avenue to Watula Avenue to accommodate the Ocala Downtown Market
