OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 6, 2021) – A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, 4:30 p.m. for the newly added restaurant at the Ocala International Airport Terminal located at 1770 SW 60th Ave. This event is free and open to the public. Members of the media are encouraged to attend.
The grand opening of Elevation 89 at the Ocala Airport will mark the addition of the City of Ocala’s newest tenant inside the general aviation terminal building. The restaurant takes its name from the field elevation of the Ocala Airport and will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Patrons from the community and guests flying into the airport can enjoy the newly established dining area.
“This restaurant is a great addition to our newly constructed airport facility and will provide additional services to guests visiting as well as the aviation community,” said Matt Grow, Airport Director, City of Ocala. “The Elevation 89 group has placed a lot of time and effort into making this project what it is today. From equipment installation to the seating area they have fully committed to making this project successful and we are grateful to them for being a part of our facility.”
