OCALA, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2021) – The Ocala Recreation and Parks department will host the Halloween Family Fun Run 5k at Citizens’ Circle, 151 SE Osceola Ave., Saturday, Oct. 30, 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.

The Halloween Family Fun Run is a part of Ocala Recreation and Parks’ annual United Way fundraiser. Participants are encouraged to wear fun, family-friendly costumes while joining in this walk, run or jogging 5k fundraiser. All proceeds from the $5 registration fee will benefit the United Way of Marion County. The City of Ocala is a longtime partner of United Way of Marion County and runs an annual workplace giving campaign.

Due to health and safety measures, there will be staggered start times to allow for proper social distancing. Participants will be emailed their start time prior to the start date. Those interested in participants are encouraged to pre-register online but day of registration will be available.
