OCALA, Fla. (April 18, 2024) – The City of Ocala Public Works department plans to survey a random sample of its residential and commercial sanitation customers to gather feedback and better understand opinions of the city’s collection practices. These survey responses will help guide Public Works in its decisions regarding sanitation collection moving forward.

The annual telephone survey will take place Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, 2024.  A random sample of calls will be made to residents and businesses from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.  If customers have caller ID, the phone numbers that will appear will be 352-415-3036, 352-415-3068, and 352-554-9696.

The telephone survey will be conducted by Baldrige Group, LLC, a performance-excellence consulting firm based in Sarasota, FL, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

As required by the Code of Ethics of the National Council on Public Polls and the United States Privacy Act of 1974, Baldrige Group will maintain the anonymity of customers who participate in the survey. No information will be released that may, in any way, reveal their answers to the survey questions.
