OCALA, Fla. (Apr. 15, 2024) – Effective immediately, the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park will experience temporary trail closures due to construction and repair projects throughout the park.

The park will remain open to visitors; however, some sections of trails will be temporarily closed to accommodate equipment and crews. The parking lot, public bathrooms and drinking water fountains will remain open.

All visitors are asked to avoid construction areas and obey trail closures. During this time, there may be dust and noise around the park. All necessary actions will be taken to minimize disturbances to wildlife.
