OCALA, Fla. (March 29, 2024) – Due to the necessary repairs for an open subsidence, a portion of the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park, 2205 NW 21st St. will be closed beginning Tuesday, April 2. Hours of operation are sunrise to sunset.
The park will remain open to visitors; however, some trails and educational exhibits will be closed to accommodate equipment and crews. The parking lot, public bathrooms, and drinking water fountains will remain open. Visitors can find a map of the open trails on the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park Facebook page, webpage, and information station located at the park.
All visitors are asked to avoid the subsidences and obey trail closures. During this time, there may be dust and noise around the park. All necessary actions will be taken to minimize disturbances to wildlife.
