UPDATE: City of Ocala to Host Public Meetings for Vision 2050 Plan

Post Date:02/29/2024 3:52 PM

OCALA, Fla. (Feb. 29, 2024) – Due to the potential for inclement weather, the final community meeting for the Vision 2050 plan will move indoors to the lobby of City Hall, 110 SE Watula Ave., Saturday, March 2, noon to 2 p.m. The event was originally scheduled to take place outdoors at Citizens’ Circle.

Citizens are welcome to join throughout the duration of the event and are not committed to the full two hours. Stations will be set up to facilitate citizen feedback in key areas such as public and open spaces, mobility and connectivity, land use and housing, and gateways. This setup allows for active participation and input from citizens on various aspects of community development and planning.

For individuals unable to attend meetings in person, a survey will be available at www.ocalafl.gov/vision2050, and will be open for feedback until Friday, April 5.

For more information, please contact the City of Ocala Growth Department at gmd@ocalafl.gov, or call 352-629-8488.
