City of Ocala to Process Remaining Fire Fee Refund Payments

OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 17, 2024) – Effective January 17, The Notice Company will no longer be providing claims administration for the City of Ocala’s fire fee refund payments.  City of Ocala representatives will process all remaining claim distributions.

Outstanding first-round claims will be processed first.  Outstanding second-round distributions will follow.  Claim checks are void 180 days after issue.

There are private, for-profit businesses reaching out to citizens, offering to assist with the refund process in exchange for a portion of the refund.  The City of Ocala, at no charge, will gladly assist any eligible citizen with obtaining a fire fee refund.  For questions or assistance in obtaining a refund, please contact the City of Ocala via email at firefeerefund@ocalafl.gov or by phone at 352-629-CITY.
