OCALA, Fla. (Nov. 30, 2023) - Due to the necessary installation of a six-inch water and fire main located at 235 NE Watula, the City of Ocala, assisted by Miller Pipeline, will install the water main at the intersection of NE Second St. and NE Third St. The project timeline has been extended due to supply issues. The intersection will be closed beginning Wednesday, Dec. 6, and will reopen Friday, Dec. 15.

OCALA, Fla. (Nov. 17, 2023) – Due to the necessary installation of a six-inch water and fire main located at 235 NE Watula, the City of Ocala, assisted by Miller Pipeline, will install the water main at the intersection of NE Second St. and NE Third St. The intersection will be closed beginning Monday, Nov. 27 and will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 6.

OCALA, Fla. (Nov. 8, 2023) – Due to the necessary installation of a six-inch water and fire main located at 235 NE Watula, the City of Ocala, assisted by Miller Pipeline, will install the water main at the intersection of NE Second St. and NE Third St. The intersection will be closed beginning Monday, Nov. 20 and will reopen Thursday, Nov. 30.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. During construction times travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.

Detour routes:

• Travelers heading south on Watula will make a left onto NE Third St., right on NE Tuscawilla Ave., left onto NE Second St., and left back onto NE Watula Ave.
• Travelers heading north on Watula will make a right onto NE Second St., left onto NE Tuscawilla Ave., left onto NE Third St., and right back onto NE Watula Ave.
