City of Ocala Holiday Schedule: Thanksgiving - Nov. 23-24

OCALA, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2023) – City of Ocala business offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 in observance of Thanksgiving. There will be no residential collection for sanitation, yard waste or recycling routes Thursday, Nov. 23.

Residential sanitation collection regularly scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 23 will experience a one-day delay and will be collected Friday, Nov. 24.

Waste Pro recycling collection for City of Ocala residents regularly scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 23 will take place Friday, Nov. 24.

The SunTran bus system will have reduced hours Wednesday, Nov. 22, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will be closed for operations Thursday, Nov. 23.  Regularly scheduled routes will resume Friday, Nov. 24. Regular service hours are Monday through Saturday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
