OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2023) – Due to utility installation, a road closure will be in effect for SW 38^th Ave., from SW 20^th St. to SW 22^nd St., beginning Monday, Oct. 30 through Monday, Nov. 6. This project includes the installation of a gravity sewer main and manhole covers.

Detour Routes:

• Southbound traffic on SW 38^th Ave. will be detoured west onto SW 60^th Ave., travel south on SW 60^th Ave. to State Road 200, east on State Road 200 back to SW 38^th Ave., and head north on SW 38^th Ave.
• Northbound traffic will be directed around the construction area on the shoulder of the road.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.
