OCALA, Fla. (July 13, 2023) – The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is seeking vendors and demonstrators for the annual Festival at Fort King, Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

This historic-themed event will give guests a chance to step into life at Fort King in the 1800s. Local history will come to life with a re-enactment of the events that fueled the start of the Second Seminole War. Food and craft vendors applications are currently open and the submission deadline is Monday, Sept. 25, 5 p.m. Historical reenactors and demonstrator applications are also open and the deadline to apply is Monday, Sept. 25, 5 p.m. Digital and hard copy applications are available.
