OCALA, Fla. (June 22, 2023) – Due to large amounts of rainfall and flooding in certain areas of the community following severe weather this week, the City of Ocala strongly encourages its residents to avoid wading, fishing, swimming, or playing in any standing bodies of water and/or retention areas. These bodies of water have the potential of containing various pollutants.
