OCALA, Fla. (May 6, 2021) – In order to accommodate stormwater systems improvement, NE 39^th Avenue, from NE Fifth Place to NE Seventh Street will be closed beginning Wednesday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 26.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic.  Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.  During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project area.

Detour routes:

•  Northbound Detour:  Left on NE Third St., right on NE 36^th Ave., right on NE Seventh St., back onto NE 39^th Ave.
• Southbound Detour:  Continue West on NE Seventh St., left on NE 36^th Ave., left on NE Third St., back onto NE 39^th Ave.
