Fort King National Historic Landmark Reduced Hours of Operation During Construction

OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 18, 2023) – Park grounds, including the fort, at Fort King National Historic Landmark, 3925 E Fort King St. will have reduced hours effective immediately.  Due to ongoing construction associated with the new blacksmith shop, the park will close at 5 p.m. daily, until further notice.  Normal hours of operation are sunrise to sunset.

During this time the visitors’ center and archaeological center will remain operational Fridays and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
