Post Date:04/16/2021 1:09 PM

OCALA, Fla. (April 16, 2020) – Due to inclement weather, the Levitt AMP Concert will move indoors to the E.D. Croskey Center, 1510 NW Fourth St., 7 to 9 p.m. which now features improved acoustics and sound absorption.  The event was originally scheduled to take place outdoors at Webb Field.

The 2021 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will feature a diverse lineup of high-caliber talent spanning musical genres such as blues, jazz, funk, soul, indie, bluegrass, zydeco, and R&B.

The series is sponsored in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a national funder of creative placemaking that empowers communities to inject new life into underused public spaces. Through free concerts, the Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will present ten free, family-friendly concerts to the public this summer.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, and frequently sanitize their hands.  Measures are in place for safely distanced seating; guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.  Food will be available for purchase.  Sanitation stations and procedures to sanitize high-touch areas will take place throughout the series.
