OCALA, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2022) – Due to construction of the City of Ocala’s lift station upgrade project, the intersection of SW 60^th Ave and SW 38^th St. will be closed nightly beginning Sunday, Aug. 14 through Tuesday, Aug. 23, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This project will accommodate the installation of a 24-inch sewer main.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. During construction times travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.

Detour routes:

• Traffic heading northbound on SW 60^th Ave. will be detoured onto SW 42^nd St., left on SW 48^th Ave., left onto SW 38^th St., and right onto SW 60^th Ave.

• Traffic heading southbound on SW 60^th Ave. will be detoured on SW 38^th St., right onto SW 48^th Ave., left on SW 42^nd St., left onto SW 60^th Ave.
