OCALA, Fla. (July 8, 2022) – The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is seeking vendors and demonstrators for the annual Festival at Fort King happening Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

This historic themed event will give guests a chance to step into life at Fort King in the 1800s. Local history will come to life with a re-enactment of the events that fueled the start of the Second Seminole War. Food and craft vendor applications are currently open and the deadline to apply is Friday, Sept. 2, 5 p.m. Historical reenactors and demonstrator applications are also open and the deadline to apply is Friday, Sept. 30, 5 p.m. Digital and hard copy applications are available.
