OCALA, Fla. (June 27, 2022) - Due to the installation of the stormwater system, a road closure will be in effect on SE Osceola Ave., between SE Eighth St. and SE Fifth St. and SE Eighth St., between SE First Ave. and SE Third Ave., beginning Monday, July 11 through Friday, Aug. 19.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.

OCALA, Fla. (June 3, 2022) – Due to the installation of the stormwater system, a road closure will be in effect on SE Osceola Ave., between SE Eighth St. and SE Fifth St. and SE Eighth St., between SE First Ave. and SE Third Ave., beginning Monday, June 13 through Friday, July 22.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.

Detour routes:

• Traffic heading westbound on SE Fifth Street will be detoured onto S Magnolia
• Traffic heading eastbound on SE Fifth Street will be detoured onto SE Third Avenue
• Traffic heading east on SE Eighth Street will be detoured to the south on Magnolia Avenue to SE Magnolia Avenue Ext., detour north on SE First Avenue back to SE Fifth Street right onto SE Third Avenue, and back onto SE Eighth Street.
• Traffic heading west on SE Eighth Street will be detoured north on SE Third Avenue to SE Fifth Street, traffic will be detoured west on SE Fifth Street to S Magnolia Avenue detouring south to SW Eighth Street.
