Downtown Parking Garage Closed for Maintenance

OCALA, Fla. (May 19, 2022) – Due to scheduled maintenance, the downtown parking garage, 296 Broadway St., will experience partial closures beginning Monday, May 23, 5 p.m. through Wednesday, May 25, 7 a.m.  During this time, the parking garage will undergo extensive deep cleaning. The garage will resume regular parking operations on Wednesday, May 25.

The parking garage will be closed nightly during the following:

Upper two levels of the parking deck:

  • 5 p.m. Monday, May 23 through 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 24
  • All vehicles must be moved from these floors by Monday, May 23, 4 p.m.

 Bottom two levels of the parking deck:

  • 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 through 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 25
  • All vehicles must be moved from these floors by Tuesday, May 24, 4 p.m.

Vehicles not moved by the allotted time frame will be towed at the owner’s expense.  Signs will be in place indicating parking deck closures and directing guests to available parking.  The garage is expected to resume regular parking operations beginning Wednesday, May 25, 8 a.m.

During this time, visitors may utilize parking throughout the downtown area. There are approximately 160 parking meters located throughout the downtown and midtown areas.  In addition to the metered parking spaces, guests may use designated on-street parking. Restricted parking spots will be enforced.
