OCALA, Fla. (May 3, 2022) – In order to accommodate a sidewalk and road resurfacing project, lane closures will be in place along South Magnolia Avenue, from State Road 40 to SE Eighth Street, beginning Wednesday, May 4 through Friday, Sept. 30.

An open traffic lane will be maintained for the duration of the project, including access to the following detours. 

• Southbound Traffic:Left turn onto SW First Ave.
• Westbound Traffic:Left turn onto SW First Ave.
• Eastbound Traffic:Right turn onto SE Osceola Ave.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Construction will take place primarily Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. During construction times travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project areas.

Specific phase lane closure information will be distributed in advance of implementation.
