City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department to Host 2022 "After Dark in the Park" Movie Series

OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 19, 2022) – The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host the 2022 ‘After Dark in the Park’ Movie Series on select Fridays throughout the year at various parks across the city.  

 

  • Friday, Feb. 25 – “The Princess and the Frog” at Webb Field in the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex, 1510 NW Fourth St., 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Mar. 25 – “Dreamgirls” at Tuscawilla Art Park, 213 NE Fifth St., 8 p.m. This film is rated PG-13
  • Friday, Oct. 28 – “The Village” at Fort King National Historic Landmark, 3925 E Fort King St., 7 p.m., This film is rated PG-13
  • Friday, Sep. 9 – “The Karate Kid” at Tuscawilla Park Oak Grove, 500 NE Ninth St., 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 16 – “The Santa Clause” at Tuscawilla Park Oak Grove, 500 NE Ninth St., 7 p.m.

These events are free and open to the public. Popcorn, drinks and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
