OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 7, 2022) – The City of Ocala’s Water Resources Department is urging residents to reduce their water consumption for the week of Jan. 10 due to required maintenance on one of the two-million-gallon ground storage tanks located at the Water Treatment Plant, 1808 NE 36th Ave. The tanks assist with the City of Ocala water demands throughout the day. The expected completion date is Sunday, Jan. 16. Although this request is for a specific time frame, customers are encouraged to practice water conservation techniques every day.
