Retro Sounds at First Friday Art Walk

First Friday Art Walk steps back in time with Retro Sounds! Travel back to the ’60s, celebrating the Motown era with a performance by The Motowners with a thematic intermission performance by Marion County Center for the Arts Dance! First Friday Art Walk includes artists displays, free family art activities, and extended shopping hours as well as a classic car display from Ocala Car Cruisers.

The Motowners will transport you back to a wonderful time of amazing hit songs and soulful classics when Motown records changed the music scene in America. We “Heard It Through the Grapevine” that Retro Sounds will have you “Dancing in the Streets” to your favorite 1960’s hits. Join us in your 60’s themed threads for an outta sight, retro-inspired evening! This event is free and open to the public, guests are encouraged to bring their chairs. Participating artists, organizations, and attendees are encouraged to wear face coverings, sanitize their booth frequently, provide hand sanitizer, provide cashless transactions (i.e. Venmo, Square, etc.), and practice social distancing at their booths.
