    Councilmember Kristen Dreyer

Moving to Florida in high school, Kristen Dreyer graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. While in college, Kristen was a member of Americorps and worked alongside community stakeholders in the Parramore neighborhood of Orlando. After college, she spent several years in the mental health field working with at risk youth. A devoted mother of three, she is an accomplished Real Estate Broker Associate with a local real estate firm.

Kristen has recently served as the Chairperson of the East Ocala CRA Advisory Board, the Co-Chairperson of the Ocala Historic Preservation Advisory Board and on the Executive Board at Ocala Main Street. She has also previously served on the Mid-town Master Plan Steering Committee and on the Board of GraceWay Academy.

An early adopter of downtown and historic district redevelopment plans, she moved her family into the historic Tuscawilla area almost a decade ago and has had the opportunity to be a part of the redevelopment and growth of that area.

As a City Council Member, Dreyer will focus on continued economic development, support of our City’s first responders and the collaboration of community, business and government to keep the City headed in the right direction.

Kristen believes that citizens have the right to engage with their elected leaders and, as such, will be available to meet with anyone who seeks to discuss issues and ideas within the City of Ocala.
