The city manager, who is appointed by City Council, is responsible for carrying out policy, administering city affairs and keeping council informed on city governmental operations. The manager makes recommendations to the council for final action. The city manager is the chief administrative officer of the city and is responsible for preparing and submitting the annual budget for council’s approval.
