CSX Railroad Closures: SW Broadway Street

OCALA, Fla. (June 2, 2023) – Due to CSX Railroad closings there will be a full road closure on SW Broadway St., between SW Sixth Ave. and SW Fifth Ave., beginning Thursday, June 8 through Friday, June 9, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The road closure is to accommodate the correction of a track defect located in the railroad crossing.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic.  During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project area.

Detour routes:

  • Eastbound traffic on SW Broadway St: Right turn on SW Seventh Ave., left turn on SW Third St., left turn onto SW Fifth Ave., right turn back onto SW Broadway St.
  • Westbound traffic on SW Broadway St: Left turn on SW Fifth Ave., left turn on SW Third St., right turn on SW Seventh Ave., left turn back onto SW Broadway St.
