    City of Ocala Holiday Schedule: Memorial Day - Monday, May 29

    OCALA, Fla. (May 10, 2023) – City of Ocala business offices will be closed Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. There will be no residential collection for sanitation, yard waste or recycling routes Monday, May 29.

    Residential sanitation collection regularly scheduled for Monday, May 29 through Thursday, June 1 will experience a one-day delay and will be collected Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2.

    Waste Pro recycling collection for the City of Ocala residents regularly scheduled for Monday, May 29 through Thursday, June 1 will take place Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2.

    The SunTran bus system will be closed for operations Monday, May 29. Regularly scheduled routes will resume on Tuesday, May 30, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    SunTran customer service phone lines will also be closed on Monday, May 29, and will resume on Tuesday, May 30.

    SunTran provides a fixed-schedule service on seven routes, Monday through Saturday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
