OCALA, Fla. (May 3, 2023) – The Discovery Center’s newest exhibit, Gross Out, opens to the public Saturday, May 20 and will be on display through Saturday, August 26 at the Discovery Center, 701 NE Sanchez Ave. The exhibit is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Discovery Center will be closed to the public from May 7 through May 19 for the exhibit installation.

Science can be fun, but also gross.  This new exhibit will address some of the grossest science subjects, such as what blood is made of, how loud a burp is and the identification of animals by their waste.  Visitors will explore the world of creepy crawlies, gross smells and stinky science.

This exhibit is sponsored by Marion Rotary Duck Derby, Ocala Electric Utility, and the Discovery Center Foundation.

General admission to the Discovery Center is $8 per person or $28 for a family of four. Annual memberships are also available for individuals and families.
